Description
: An exciting position has become available in a fast growing well established gas detection distribution company. The role, Hire Controller will involve maximising the effectiveness of the hire process, by providing a high level of support to the Sales team and internal Engineers. Ensuring all enquires are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner, whilst maximising the usage of the hire fleet This role is ideal for anyone with an interest in a variety of administration
duties and who wishes to be a part of a fast paced and friendly team.
THE ROLE:
The Role will report to the Customer Support Manager and will involve the following:
Hires
Answering incoming telephone calls and email correspondence
Communicating directly with Customers on a day to day basis via email / telephone to advise on enquiries and orders including delivery and collection times
Facilitating hire returns
Inputting and maintaining hire information on SAP in relation to,
Quotations and Sales Orders
Manage External calibration of hire fleet instruments where required
Generating and maintaining internal and external documentation relating to hires
Coordinating with External Sales team on customer enquiries and quotations
Support the Service and Warehouse teams on their daily tasks
Proposing and implementing Quality improvement tasks relating to hires
Supporting and assisting Service Controller and Internal Sales
Support Controller as and when required
General
Communicating in a timely manner with appropriate teams
Supporting and assisting Service Controller, City Technology
Controller and Internal Sales Support Controller as and when
required.
Carrying out additional duties as and when required
ROLE KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

THE PERSON
This is a hands-on role and the person appointed will:-
Experience of working within a purchasing or administrationbdepartment or environment is an advantage. However a ‘can do’ attitude and good cultural fit is more critical than experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

BENEFITS

salary, 20 days + Bank holidays annual holiday increasing with service,

WORKING HOURS:
This is a full-time position and working hours are Monday to Thursday
8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary 18,000.00 – £20,000.00 Per Annum
