Maintenance Planner (FTC 31st Dec 2018)
What you can expect:
While being part of a multi-disciplined team, you will ensure that all maintenance activities are planned in accordance to current EHS guidelines.
o You will operate the maintenance planning and scheduling function within SAP including the creation of quality maintenance plans.
o This will involve management of the 52 week plan including the organisation of spare parts, generation of planned work packages, gatekeeping of notifications,
and the attendance of maintenance planning meetings within the production areas.
o You will ensure that documentation is generated and correctly filed in compliance with procedures within the DMS system, including feedback reports to ensure continuous improvement.
o You will also be expected to organise and attend meetings covering the planning process and to work closely with the maintenance teams / asset managers and operational support to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
o Note: This is a temporary contract lasting until 31st December 2018.
WHat we expect;
o Beyond having 3 GCSE passes including English Language, Mathematics and one Science subject (or equivalent), you should also be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of maintenance principles.
o Proven experience in a systems driven environment preferably within a chemical manufacturing environment, you have the ability to problem solve in a systematic and logical manner.
o You have demonstrable knowledge of appropriate EHS regulations and legislation.
o Finally, you have a good level of computer literacy focusing on SAP systems and strong communication skills.
