About US

Our client is Forbes’ fastest growing and most exciting business 2017. We are a fast expanding, VC backed startup in the London data science scene. We work with a wide range of companies, from FTSE100 corporates to the freshest startups, helping them innovate through their data.

 

The New Business Development Executive is expected to take part in all sales activities.

Specifically, we look for someone to:

Generate leads, meet customers and close deals to drive revenue growth;

Increase revenue from a foundation of existing clients;

Work closely with the marketing function ensuring that the commercial “brand” is highlighted, developed and positioned as appropriate;

Find ways of developing partnerships to drive revenue

Attend industry events and network

 

 

What we look for

Critically, several years’ experience in sales in a tech environment, selling a software solution;

Proven selling skills with evidence of winning and developing new accounts

A strong closer

Engagement with C level executives;

Ideally contacts in Retail, Logistics or Media

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Basic understanding of what data science is, and the Big Data environment; and

Gravitas and mindset to operate without supervision and win high value deals
